Root Cellar – Sacramento Genealogical Society is happy to research the Sacramento County area, California records for members and non–members alike. If your search request is out of our area, we will recommend the proper contacts. Our resources include but are not limited to cemetery records, city directories, mortuaries, local histories, newspapers, and some prison records.
The fee for initiating research is $20.00 which includes two hours of research. Research will begin upon receipt of initial fee and a completed request form submitted by mail. Additional research time will be charged at $20.00 per hour. Only one name per request. Complete the “Root Cellar Research Request Form” and return it to Root Cellar. Fees for vital records certificates and postage will be added to the research costs.
